There are essentially two types of content on this site, and each one has separate and different copyright rules.

Wholly Original Content

Any of the wholly original content on this site - consisting of, but not limited to images in the Gallery, layout images, the site's code - is licensed under a Creative Commons License. This license states that you may re-use the content if you accredit me, do not use it for commercial purposes, and do not alter the work in any way (please see the license itself for complete guidelines).

I would prefer that you not take the page layout (and layout graphics) at all, since it's the "image" of my site. But, if you want to use my original content, in addition to following the License terms, I request that you post a link back to my site on the same page where you display my content.

Winamp Skins

Because the images in them are not always my own, I do not claim complete ownership of the Winamp skins (except for those that are created from my own images). You may not use the skins for commercial purposes. You may redistribute them on your own site if you'd like, but please do not remove or alter the credits.txt file, or hotlink them (upload them to your own webspace, in other words). I would also prefer that you not use my skins as "members only" content - my skins are meant to be free: free of charge, free of membership. If you want to open the zip file of a skin and use the pieces as a basis for creating your own, that is fine with me, just be honest: take credit for what is your work, not mine.

Also...

In any case where you're redistributing or re-using something of mine, I'd appreciate a link back to my site.

Anyone found violating the site's Creative Commons License will be contacted and politely asked to resolve the problem. Further legal action may be taken if necessary.
